Walt Disney World June 2023-Day 2
Hi friends! I’m so excited to share Day 2 of our quick Disney adventure!

On Sunday morning we woke up to our beautiful savannah views with giraffes and other roaming animals! The girls loved it, we all loved it!

Once we got enough of the animals, we got ready for breakfast and headed to Sanaa over at Kidani Villiage. Kidani Village is a part of Animal Kingdom Lodge. We stayed at Jambo House (the main building at Animal Kingdom Lodge) so we hopped in our van and drove two minutes to Kidani. (If you are planning to stay at Jambo House and want to visit Kidani village there is a bus that travels between the two in case you didn’t have your own transportation).

If you stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge you MUST treat yourself and your family to breakfast at Sanaa. It was not only delicious and super affordable but the views were unreal!

We saw more animals on the savannah from this view than from our balcony view. The girls got a kick out of it.

John and I both ordered the eggs benedict. It was very good and had a little heat to it which was delicious! The girls split the french toast and we all split banana bread.

Breakfast at Sanaa is now a non-negotiable for our family if we were to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge again. It was really great in every way! Also, we arrived around 8 am and had no problem ordering and getting a table by the window. I think Sanaa is one of Animal Kingdom Lodge’s best-kept secrets!

After breakfast, we wandered around Kidani Village a little then headed back to our room to pack up.

While I packed, we let Kate take a nap in the magical Slumpberpod, and Caroline and John had their last run of the water slide and sightseeing!

After nap, we went to Animal Kingdom with the intent to only do two things so we could get on the road and be home in time for dinner.

So we went to see the Finding Nemo show. None of us had seen it before.
It was a good show. Very loud, but the performance, of course, in Disney Magic was wonderful!

After the show, we headed to the triceratops ride and checked that off our list then headed home. I was sad to leave Disney but not sad to leave the park. It was brutally hot outside and I was ready to be done with the heat.

Once we got on the road we stopped by the new Publix off I-4 at the Celebration location. John went in and grabbed lunch and yummy snacks for us as we headed home.
We had so much fun on our little trip to Disney and can’t wait to go back!
Have you been to Disney lately? Where did you stay? Did you like it? Let me know in the comments!
We used DVC rental points on this trip from DVC Shop Rentals! And are planning to use them in the future!
XO,
Holley
