I’m just so excited to be participating in a What’s Up Wednesday with all my blogging people! I can’t believe the last time I participated was in February 2021! It’s 2023! Where did the time go?!

Alright, let’s get to it!

We just finished off our yummy banana bread and we need to make another batch soon! Make sure you check out my recipe, it’s so yummy!

This week we’ve been doing a little bit of cleaning out the fridge with our meals. We are heading out of town next week and I don’t want to have lots of leftovers. So all our meals this week are non-leftover type meals!

I’ve been thinking a lot about last summer with the girls. It feels like it was such a blur. I was super emotional about Caroline going to school for the first time and I was still learning how to juggle two kids.

I can’t believe I haven’t mentioned this here yet! I LOVE the hair masque that I’ve been using. Caroline and I have both been using it more often lately as we’ve been in the pool a ton! We are usually in the pool about two hours a day so our hair needs all the conditioning it can get! I love this stuff so much, it smells amazing, and makes our hair so soft after the harsh chlorine.

Lots and lots of swimming among other things. But for real, I feel waterlogged, we’ve been swimming so much! lol!

I am so excited to see my family next week but I’m kinda dreading the drive. I pray she does well! I think she will do better than the last time we took a long trip. Maybe I should just give her a pair of goggles, it seems to entertain her enough lol!

I’ve been working on blogging. lol! It’s so much harder to get these posts written now that I have two littles. I feel myself trying to steal a minute here and one there to get some writing in. But gosh I love it!

The fact that we still have over a month left of summer with sweet little Caroline! I love love love having her home with us and I love the slowness of summer. It’s so special.

I’m also super duper excited to spend a week with my family! I can’t wait to just be with them!

I just finished MerPeople on Netflix! That was soo good! We also finished the Diplomat which was super good too!

And in between all that we’ve been watching Modern Family and some of our favorite summer movies that I will share in an upcoming post!

I’m still trying to read through The Paris Library. I found it hard to get started but finally, around page 120 I began to actually get hooked. I’ll let you know what I think of it in my July book review.

Every Wednesday you will find me listening to Jennifer Fulwiler’s podcast! I seriously cannot get enough of her! She is so freaking funny! I want her as my own personal life coach! Seriously she is great! You need to listen!

Bathing suits, t-shirts, and shorts! Summer life!

We will be in Panama City visiting my family and watching my sweet little niece be baptized! Did I mention how excited I am to see them? lol!

I have to say I haven’t purchased many things from Amazon lately. I’ve been trying to cut back on online shopping and such. One item I did purchase was a dvd case for our van. We have a dvd player in the van and we love it! So of course we needed a dvd case to go along with all the dvds! This one has been easy for Caroline to use and for me to use even while driving.
