Magic Kingdom Day: July 2026

Hi, my friends!! Happy Monday!!

I can’t believe it’s already August! Summer has absolutely flown by. Before I jump into my July recap, though, I wanted to share two fun little adventures from the end of the month. One was our completely random, spur-of-the-moment trip to Magic Kingdom, and the other was a beach day with friends in Clearwater.

Today’s post is all about our magical day at Magic Kingdom!

Caroline, Kate, and I had been talking about how much we missed Disney World, so I checked our calendar to see if we could squeeze in a quick day trip. I started watching the forecast, hoping to find a day without rain in Orlando. Believe it or not, the stars aligned, and that day happened to be last Wednesday!

We decided to go for it, and I’m so glad we did!

Wednesday, we woke up, got ready, and headed out the door to Magic Kingdom!

We arrived around 11:00 a.m. and headed straight into the park. The first thing on our agenda? Shopping, of course! We wandered through the shops along Main Street, U.S.A., and while we were there, we were surprised to see Elena of Avalor meeting guests! The girls were so excited to meet her since we don’t see her out very often.

After that our shopping adventure began!

Once we were done shopping, we grabbed lunch at the Plaza Restaurant

Once our bellies were full, we made our way toward Tomorrowland. Along the way, we spotted a PhotoPass photographer and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to snap a few pictures. After our little photo stop, we continued on to Tomorrowland and hopped aboard the PeopleMover. It’s one of our favorite rides to relax, cool off, and take in the sights of Magic Kingdom.

After we moved on to Dumbo and grabbed popcorn!

Then headed to Little Mermaid and the carousel

By this point, we were beyond hot and desperately needed a break in some good air conditioning. We decided to head over to the Hall of Presidents, and honestly, it was exactly what we needed. It felt so nice to sit down in the cool theater, relax for a little while, and escape the Florida heat before heading back out to enjoy the rest of our day.

Apparently, we still weren’t done soaking up the air conditioning! Next, we headed over to the Country Bear Musical Jamboree, followed by Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room. Both were the perfect way to cool off, rest our feet for a bit, and escape the afternoon heat before continuing our Magic Kingdom day.

After the Tiki Room, we decided it was time to hit the road and head home. It had been such a fun little day trip! We packed so much into just a few hours, made some sweet memories together, and got our Disney fix. Sometimes we don’t need a long vacation—just a spontaneous day at Magic Kingdom is enough to fill our cup.

I’m seriously so glad that we spent a random Wednesday in July at Magic Kingdom!

Happy Monday, my friends!!
