Friday Favorite No.69

Happy Friday, friends!!

As always, I’m linking up with some other fun bloggers for our weekly Friday Favorites!

I always love Fridays, but there is something extra special about this one. Today is John and my 16th wedding anniversary!!

I love this man more than I can even explain. He is truly my best friend and my favorite person to do life with. I feel unbelievably blessed that we’ve been married for the past 16 years. We got married when we were just 22 years old, and looking back, it was one of the very best decisions we’ve ever made. I’m so thankful that we’ve gotten to grow up together, build a life together, and raise our girls together. I honestly feel so lucky that we found each other so young.

So…Happy Anniversary to us! ❤️

Alright, enough about us—let’s get to this week’s favorites!

We went to Magic Kingdom yesterday!! We had the BEST day! The trip was completely spur-of-the-moment, and honestly, I think that made our quick little day trip even more exciting!

Rest time! Ahh…if you know, you know.

My girls have had rest time every day we’ve been home this summer, and it has been absolutely delightful. My youngest, Kate, could definitely still take a nap, but whenever she does, she has a hard time falling asleep at night. So, I switched our afternoon nap time to rest time instead.

Both girls spend about an hour in their own beds watching a movie or a show on their iPads. It’s become such a relaxing part of our day. As much as I love it, I think they love it even more—they literally ask for rest time every afternoon!

If you have little ones who refuse to nap, try this rest time thing out. And don’t feel guilty about letting them watch a show on an iPad. Nobody needs extra mom guilt!

Ummm…why didn’t I know that Real Housewives of London was going to be a new series on Bravo?! I was so excited when I saw it on Peacock last night! I dove right in, and I LOVE it!!

I want to go to London soooo much, so it’s extra fun getting to watch these women live their luxurious lives there!

I’m wrapping this Friday Favorites up and making it very short and sweet! I am trying to squeeze every last moment of summer in with my girls!
