What’s Up Wednesday {August 2026}

How in the world is it already the last Wednesday in August?! This month truly flew by! I feel like once school starts, everything just seems to move a little fasterโand now that I have two girls in school, time is really flying!
August has been full of back-to-school routines, getting used to our new normal, and lots of little everyday moments in between. And somehow, here we are already wrapping up the month!
Today, Iโm excited to be linking up with other bloggers for a fun Whatโs Up Wednesday! I always love these posts because theyโre such a fun little snapshot of what life looks like right now.
So, letโs get to it! ๐

In this very busy back-to-school season, I have been sticking to our easy, go-to recipes and not trying too many new things. For instance, last night we had tacos for Taco Tuesday, and on Friday weโll have pizza! When back-to-school season hits, I really like to keep dinners simple and feed everyone what I already know they will eat and enjoy.
After a long day at school, the last thing Iโm interested in is a dinnertime meltdown over something new on their plate ๐. So right now, we are fully embracing the easy meals, family favorites, and anything that makes our evenings run a little more smoothly!
One of those yummy meals is my super easy Chicken Pot Pie recipe! Check it out here!

I am loving my new shampoo and conditioner! I heard about this brand while watching the Today show one day and decided to give it a try. And you guys, I really feel like it has made my hair softer and bouncier! Truly! It also smells sooo good, which is always a win for me. I have been so happy with it so far and definitely think itโs worth sharing!

We have been up to all things back-to-school around here! I have also been slowly but surely trying to figure out this whole new routine for myself. I now have four hours in the morning all to myself before I pick Kate up from Pre-K4, and let me tell you…those four hours FLY by!
I am quickly learning that I have to commit to one main goal for those four hours and really focus on that. If I try to tackle too many things at once, somehow nothing actually gets done ๐. Itโs still a little messy, and I definitely havenโt figured out the perfect routine yet, but itโs a work in progress!
I also recently became an Amazon Influencer, which has been really fun! I am slowly learning all about the program, how everything works, and the different opportunities that come along with it. Itโs something totally new for me, but Iโm excited to see where it goes!

This is a fun one! I have kind of been all over the place lately, watching different shows on different nights, but the other night I started watching The Mindy Project while writing a blog post and now I canโt stop! I absolutely love this show! Mindy Kaling is one of my favorite actresses, and she is just hilarious in this one. I donโt know why it took me so long to start watching it!
And if youโre looking for something fun to watch, I wrote a post the other day sharing my top 5 shows right now! Go check it outโIโm always looking for something new to add to my watch list too!

I am currently binging episodes from my favorite podcaster in the whole world…Jen Fulwiler! I love her so much! I actually saved up a bunch of her episodes over the summer so I would have something fun, funny, interesting, and delightful to listen to once the girls went back to school.
I knew Iโd want to spend some of my four little hours listening to books and podcasts while Iโm getting things done around the house, and Iโm so glad I saved so many of her episodes! It has been such a fun little treat to have something I know Iโll enjoy waiting for me each morning.

I am wearing this fun little orange outfit from Amazon on repeat lately! And somehow, I donโt actually have a picture of myself wearing it. Bad blogger habit…oh well! ๐ But here it is on Amazon!
I love this thing so much! Itโs cute, comfortable, easy to throw on, and I literally get compliments on it all the time. It has quickly become one of those outfits I reach for over and over again.
And as of writing this…itโs only $22!!! Such a steal! ๐งก

I did take a picture of myself trying on some clothes in Target yesterday… I didn’t get this green dress but I did get it in black..I thought it would be fun for Disney or even running errands and would look so cute with a jean jacket or sweater thrown over it!

This month has absolutely flown by, and I finally feel like Iโm starting to get my feet steady and on the ground with this whole new routine. Iโm still trying to figure out what life at home looks like without the girls here all morning! Iโm looking forward to getting a better grasp on these four little hours and finding my own rhythm in it all.

And I am also VERY much looking forward to all things pumpkin!!! I have been holding myself back from breaking out the pumpkins or eating or drinking anything pumpkin until September 1st, and you guys…I am READY! ๐ Give me all the pumpkin coffee, pumpkin treats, and little pumpkins around the house. Iโve waited long enough! ๐
I hope you have a great Wednesday!! Iโm actually supposed to be on the morning news this morning with a group of moms asking social media experts some questions! Such a fun and different little thing to do, and Iโm excited about it! Iโll have to let you know how it goes!
Thanks so much for catching up with me today. I hope you have the best rest of your week!
Happy Wednesday, friends!
