Today I’m partnering with Little Wink Sleep to share with you all about my sweet little girl’s sleep habits! I’m so excited to bring this to you!
So way back before Caroline was out of my belly, I did not do any research on how to help a baby sleep or anything about sleep habits. For some reason I told myself when she comes I’ll figure it out then.
Well, needless to say, she came and her sleep was awful. In the hospital and the first couple of days of her life she bearly slept because she was super hungry. We didn’t know she wasn’t getting enough food till she was about 4 days old. Long story short, we had to go to feeding therapy for her to be able to successfully breastfeed which she ended up doing, and we gave her a bottle while I pumped for the first 4 months of her life.
But with all that going on we were also trying to figure out how to get Caroline to sleep, and not just sleep 30 minutes but several hours.
So I read every book I could find on my kindle through hoopla. And we came up with a pretty good routine.
Every time there was a sleep problem I would look back in those books for help and find an answer.
Well most of those books stopped helping me after 15 months old.
I can’t even tell you how much I love nap time and a successful night of sleep. I was and am obsessed. So I knew when Caroline had another sleep issue I needed something else/ someone else to help me.
I found Little Wink Sleep on Instagram and thought I would reach out not knowing if they could help or not. And OMG! They were amazing!!!
The first time I reached out to them with their FREE 15 min. phone call, Caroline was 17 months old and she was fighting her naps, screaming through them, and even falling asleep sitting up. And I was getting to the point of losing it! I hated nap time, I hated bedtime. I was so over it and I was becoming angry so I knew I needed someone to just tell me what to do, I was over trying to figure it out myself.
When I spoke with Anna she was able to guide in the right direction and I’m not even kidding you, I did everything she said to do exactly and Caroline broke the awful habit of fighting sleep within 2 days.
So I was hooked! I knew Little Wink Sleep knew what they were doing.
Recently Caroline has been fighting sleep at night. She’s been doing the normal 2-year-old thing where she asks for water, then it’s change my diaper, then it’s you name it.
Well, I reached out to Little Wink Sleep she told me exactly what to do and boom! Caroline is back to her little normal self!
I researched and looked around on Pinterest and everything other bloggers were suggesting never worked.
But I’m telling you Anna gave me simple directions and within 2 nights Caroline was back to her normal self.
