Toddler Scavenger Hunts

Are you looking for a fun way to entertain your toddler? This toddler scavenger hunt is the perfect way to spend time together outside or inside!

During this time of social distancing, I would say we’ve all become a little more creative! I know I have. And today’s post is a result of that creativity!

The other day, I saw some older kids doing scavenger hunts and I quickly passed it by thinking Caroline is much too young to do something like that.

Then I stopped myself and thought instead of dismissing this fun activity and saying she can’t do it, why not make one for her own age!?

So I did! I hopped on Canva and got started!

I knew that the scavenger hunt needed to be simple and picture-based.

I was so excited to get this started, I finished it so quickly that I started making other scavenger hunts!

I’ve listed two of the scavenger hunts below! You can grab them in my free resource library! Sign up for my weekly emails and you will have full access to my resource library for FREE!

How to take your toddler on their very own scavenger hunt!

  1. Print your scavenger hunt. Grab a clipboard, a bucket, and a pencil and head outside!
  2. Ask your little one what do they see on the scavenger hunt paper. If they are having difficulty choose one item and ask them what that item is.
  3. Now go hunting for the item! Once they find it they can put it in their bucket and try to cross off the picture.

I hope you and your little have as much fun as Caroline and I did doing our scavenger hunts! We’ve continued to do them each day since.

We decided we had so much fun that we needed to make a care package to send to Caroline’s cousins so they could do the same!

Pass on the fun when you’re done! Print another scavenger hunt and mail it to a sweet toddler you love! They will love getting mail with their name on it! I promise!

We even made a little card to go along with it!

Don’t forget to grab your FREE printable!
