Simple Fun for Your Toddler at Home

Simply Fun for Your Toddler at Home

Happy Wednesday my friends! I’m so excited to be sharing with you some simple fun things to do at home with your kiddo especially your toddler during this time of staying at home.

And I have to say I’m so excited to be joining some amazing ladies for a linkup party! I feel so blessed to be able to host with them in this Welcome Wednesday each Wednesday! Definitely check out their blogs below!

Ok, so here we go! Some fun easy ways to have a great time with your toddler!

one//Bath time// I love just putting Caroline in the bath and letting her play! She loves spending time in there playing with toys.

two//Sidewalk chalk// Caroline and I love going outside and playing with sidewalk chalk. For me it’s something I actually enjoy

three//Painting// I have a roll of butcher paper, painters tape, and a plastic table cloth that is super easy to roll out. And some great washable paint with sponge brushes and Ikea plastic bowls.

four//Cook together// I love to make cookies or anything with Caroline. Yes, it’s a lot more work to cook with her but it always ends up being fun. I just have to embrace the idea that it will be messy and maybe a little crazy.

five//Help mommy clean// I make up silly little songs while we clean around the house and I invite Caroline to help me. I give her a paper towel or a towel and ask her to help me. She loves it!

six//Color on a big roll of paper// I love rolling out easel paper and putting down some crayons and coloring the afternoon away. Caroline loves it and I love to practice pretty lettering, not that I’m any good but I can try!

seven//Picnic Lunch// Caroline loves to have a picnic lunch any day or anytime. I have a blanket that I lay down in our living room and we eat our snacks or lunches on it.

eight//Bubbles// We only have a super simple bottle of bubbles but Caroline thinks it’s so fun to run around with the bubble stick and blow the bubbles. She also has so much fun running after the bubbles. This summer I want to buy some bigger bubble wands, and I’m very excited for this!

nine//read books// We try to read books together every day, one time before bed and one time right after a nap. Lately, Caroline has been waking up from her nap and asking to have her little basket of books in her crib so she can read in bed.

ten// make a trail mix together// This goes along with cooking fun things together. Making a trail mix is fun though because you can mix anything you want in this mix! And stirring the mix really can’t go wrong.

I hope you find some fun simple ideas here to have fun with your little one!
