How I Organize My phone apps
Happy Monday!!!
Today I thought I’d share with you how I organize my phone apps. A couple of months ago I was so tired of having my apps take up 4 home screen pages so I decided to organize it all with 2 easy steps and wow the difference it makes!
This is super easy and takes less than 15 minutes. Grab your phone and let’s get ORGANIZING!!!
The first thing you need to do to organize your phone is to create categories that fit the apps you have. Check out the categories I created for my phone!
- Amusement Parks
- Apple Apps
- Baby
- Blogs
- Blog Stuff
- Books
- Catholic
- Coupons
- Finance
- Food
- Health
- Productivity
- Music
- Navigation
- News
- Photo
- Shopping
- Social
- Thrifty
- TV/Video
- Travel
- Web
- Weather
After you create categories, start adding the apps and before you knew it you’ll have a wonderfully organized phone. Easy peasy, right?!

Some Little Tips
- A key to keeping these organized is having the categories in alphabetical order. Having the categories organized like this helps me to find a category quickly and an app even faster.
- I like to keep the phone app, text app, and our EveryDollar app on the bottom bar of the phone for super quick access.

- I moved all my categories to the last home screen so that when I open my phone I’m not bombarded, I can just see a cute picture or relaxing background.
- When I download a new app, I try to fit it in one of the above categories. But if it doesn’t fit, then I make a new category. I don’t like having an app floating on its own.
I hope this helps you organize your phone so you can find things faster and not feel overwhelmed by swiping a bunch of home screen pages. Nobody needs 4 or more home screen pages. That’s just clutter!
Happy Organizing!
