The 4th of July is tomorrow! And I’m excited to celebrate!
I thought I’d throw a list together of 5 ways to celebrate the 4th. I hope you enjoy!

Watch Fireworks

This goes without saying. Watch some fireworks whether they are on your street, in your city, or even on your TV. I don’t know what the 4th would be without a little sparkle. If you aren’t sure where fireworks will be happening around you. Do a little search on Google and I’m sure you’ll find some!

BBQ
Have a BBQ or go to one. I feel like this is a 4th of July tradition anywhere. The smell of BBQs burning is pure summer to me. My father-in-law is going to be smoking ribs. I’m so excited!
Spend time by and in the water

We will be spending time by the pool but I’ve spent many 4th’s out on my Dad or brother’s boat cruising the waters and islands. If you’re headed to the beach make sure you get there early. I know it gets crowded pretty fast on a holiday like the 4th. If you can find a hotel/condo on the water that you think allows paid public parking. Call ahead to make sure, and if they accept paid public parking, pay the fee and park there. You’ll be thankful!

Be thankful for our great country and freedom
With these great holidays, it’s easy to get caught up in the fun and forget why we have off in the first place. I always try to remember why and to be thankful for the sacrifices others have made before us to give us this holiday.
I hope you have a great 4th of July spending time with friends and family. Stay safe, wear some sunscreen, enjoy a hotdog, and capture memories! 🙂
XO,
holley
