Friday Favorites No. 74

Happy Friday, friends! Before jumping into today’s favorites, I couldn’t let the day pass without acknowledging that today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001. It’s hard to believe so much time has passed. Today, I’m remembering the lives that were lost, the families forever changed, and the brave first responders who ran toward danger to help others. We will never forget.

And now, I’m linking up with other bloggers to share five little favorites from our week!

One

One of my favorite things each week is getting pictures of Kate from school! Since she is still so little and doesn’t always tell me a ton about her day, I love getting these little glimpses of what she has been doing. Seeing her playing, learning, and having fun with her friends always makes me so happy!

Two

Caroline has been loving these little balls with the cutest babies inside! She has two of them now, and they really are adorable. I love watching her open them and seeing how excited she gets about each little baby. They have definitely been a favorite around our house lately!

Three

I have also been loving shopping at HomeGoods and finding little decorations to add throughout our home. I don’t need to completely redo a room—sometimes just adding one or two new things makes everything feel fresh again! And, of course, HomeGoods always has so many fun things to look through.

Four

The sausage and peppers meal we made with Rao’s on Monday was definitely a favorite this week! It was so easy to throw together in the crockpot, and everyone loved it. We served it with hoagie rolls and pasta, and it made the perfect easy Monday-night dinner. I shared the full recipe on the blog in case you want to try it too!

Five

And finally…football is back!! There is just something about having football on again that makes it really feel like fall is on the way—even if it is still very hot here in Florida! I love having games playing throughout the weekend, and I’m so excited for another football season!
