Friday Favorites No. 58

It’s Friday and that means it’s time for another round of Friday Favorites! Today I’m linking up with Erika and Andrea and so many other fun bloggers to catch up on the week of fun things!

It might sound silly but I have really enjoyed all this blogging! I can’t believe I actually got 5 days of posts in this week! It hasn’t been easy and most of them were posted well after the girls went to bed. If you missed any of them you can check them out here!
Tuesday-I reposted my Banana Bread recipe that we love and created during the pandemic
Wednesday- What’s Up Wednesday! A fun link-up with other bloggers where we chat about all kinds of things we’re up to!
Thursday-My May/June Book Review! I had so much fun writing this post! I love chatting about the books I’ve read! I need to get reading so I have more to write about in July!

Caroline got her Kindergarten backpack, lunchbox, and water bottle in the mail yesterday!

She was soo excited! Everything looks great and I’m so thankful I ordered when I did. Last year I felt like I ordered super last minute so this year it was nice to get it in early. And gosh she looks so cute! I can’t believe she is going to Kindergarten next year!

Someone else was very excited to wear Caroline’s backpack too!

We are headed to see my parents today in Panama City and I’m so excited to see them. Our trip is a decent drive with two littles-about 6-7 hours and hopefully not a minute more! Even though it’s not very fun to ride in the car that long with a 16-month-old, I’m very excited and hopeful that our trip will be more bearable with our new van! Yesterday we moved Caroline to the middle using the “magic slide” so she could sit by Kate. I’m curious to see if this will help! Seemed to work out well while we ran errands yesterday.

We joined BJ’s warehouse this past week for $20! John and I love eating a Yasso bar at night…they are only 100 calories and taste delicious. Costco usually has them in stock and I buy them there. But about a month ago the bar’s price tag had that little * on it which at Costco means they are not restocking this item anytime soon so what you see is what they have. Well, we got some and then ran out and Publix was not showing signs of having a buy one get one on them. Now the reason I’m funny about buying them in bulk is because at Publix they are $6 for 4 bars! If John and I both have one at night they are gone in two nights! Anyway, that is just too expensive and ridiculous to keep buying them from Publix. But I saw BJ’s had them like Costco!! I was so excited! So we joined and found the warehouse to be great! We found some other items that we normally get at Costco or Sam’s and picked those up along with super cheap gas! And to round it all out BJ’s is much closer to our home than the other two warehouses by about 10 minutes! So win win win all around! And as luck has it I didn’t take many pictures while we were there!

With all that chatter about Yasso bars, I think they should round out my favorites this week lol! We love the mint chocolate chip bars! They are so yummy and don’t give you that yucky-heavy feeling that ice cream does, at least for me. So next time you see them on sale at Publix or Target grab some, they’re delicious!
That about wraps up my Friday Favorites! I hope you guys have a great weekend and a fun 4th of July holiday! I won’t be blogging next week but I will be back Monday after next week!
xx,
Holley
