It’s Friday and I can’t believe how fast time is flying by this year. I can’t believe in two months we will be saying we’re half way through 2021. I guess life without total quarantine is much faster!
I hope you ladies have had a great week! We definetly have!
Let’s get to Friday Favorites!
//1// Gola Shoes
These little sneakers have been a go-to for me! I’ve worn them with dresses, shorts, and pants. And I just love them!
They are cute and super comfy! I actually saw this brand in a magazine. I thought the brand was so cute so I googled it and found these little kicks on Nordstrom Rack.
I ordered them online for less than $40 and they were shipped for free to my local Nordstrom Rack! Super fun!
Might I add on the subject of cute sneakers, I’ve come to the conclusion that I need to wear closed-toe shoes more often as a mommy. I always seem to find myself at places like the zoo or parks and even running errands. And when I wear a sneaker my feet thank me later. 😊
//2// Getting my hair done
You guys getting my hair done is not something I do often. In fact, the last time I got my hair highlighted and cut was September…yep September. So I decided, that was just way too long to go between highlights and cuts.
So I decided to start making hair appointments every 8 weeks give or take. My aunt does my hair so I’m super lucky to be able to bring Caroline along with me which helps with scheduling.
//3//Preschool Activities with Caroline
So if you’ve been reading this blog for a little while you know that I was a teacher for 8 years and while I taught one of my absolute favorite things to do was to purchase activity packets from Teachers Pay Teachers. I loved printing the activities, laminating them, and having the kids learn through the cute activities.
And now that Caroline is 3, I decided to start creating our own activities and I have fallen in LOVE!
It has been so much fun!
I’ve started each week with a theme and we go from there. Some of the activities that I create are not printables and some of them are.
I don’t think I realized how much fun this would be.
I’ve been busy creating and getting ready to try to sell some of my products too!
Time has definitely been my biggest obstacle but my husband keeps reminding me “you can’t eat an elephant in one bite, but you can one bite at a time”.
Here are some of the activities I’ve created so far!
We had such a great time on Easter.
It was so lovely to attend Mass on Easter as a family and then to be able to see a lot of family members at my in-laws for Easter dinner!
Normal life is slowly but surely coming back!
//5// EAster Dresses
This year I ordered Easter dresses for Caroline and myself and I couldn’t have been happier.
Caroline’s dress is from Macy’s and is super adorable. She actually picked it out herself. I let her choose between two dresses and this is the one she chose.
And my dress, I just love it! I would buy every dress in this style if money were unlimited lol! Seriously, it’s so comfy, it has pockets, it’s lightweight, it’s just all the things! The only thing is I did put a safety pin on the top to keep it from opening but other than that it was just perfect.
I’m wearing a size 2 here. I definitely thought I would be a 4 or 6 but apparently not JCrew sizes are always different for me.
I also got mine on sale for 40% off and another 10% off. Wait for a sale if you plan to buy, it seems like they always have one coming or going!
Alright my friends, I hope you have a great Friday and a beautiful weekend!
John and I go on Saturday to get our vaccines. I’m a little nervous but it’s something I’ve been praying a lot about and I feel more peace than scared so I’m going with that.
