Does anyone else feel like this?!
I love Fridays! Especially Fridays with a holiday ahead. We’ll be celebrating Mother’s Day with John’s family this weekend by hanging out by the pool and enjoying the food the guys make for us! No cooking for us mommies!
Well let’s get to it! Some of my favorites from this past week.
Caroline has started crawling!!! I know, I know she is 15 months old but this is a big deal for us. Caroline has been scooting everywhere on her bottom with no crawling or walking in sight. She’s been attending physical therapy for the past month and has made a lot of progress. The next step for her will be sidestepping while holding on to something. We’re so proud of this little muchkin!
You know when you finish a great book and you can ‘t stop thinking about it. This was one of those. The Tattooist of Auschwitz was a beautiful story of love, courage, strength, and endurance. I highly recommend reading it, I couldn’t put it down. If you like reading about WWII era and the Holocaust it is a must read.
So the other day I finished watching the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and was at a standstill on what to watch next. My sister told me that she heard Jane the Virgin was really good and YES, YES, YES it’s sooo good! I love it! Cute, funny, fast, and entertaining! YAY!
The Mother’s Day cards at the Dollar Tree were amazing this year! Seriously, so cute! If you haven’t picked up your cards yet go to the Dollar Tree and pick some up! Your mother would love them!
Yesterday, my friend Stephanie invited us to go to the Florida Aquarium as a guest on her pass. I’ve been to the aquarium many times but yesterday was so nice. We sat by the huge glass windows for almost an hour with our girls and chatted while they (and we were) amazed by the beautiful creatures swimming by.
A not so favorite lately…
One thing I haven’t been liking lately is how my nail polish chips away the day after I paint my nails. I use OPI nail polish and Orly top coat. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong but I really want to find something that lasts more than a day. So please tell me if you have a good recommendation. 🙂
To all you mamas and soon to be mamas, I hope you have a beautiful Mother’s Day.
And to those of you who are struggling with infertility at this time, I know how hard it is to watch so many women celebrate. I’ll be thinking and praying for you this day. My heart always hurt a little more on this very special Sunday each year. Don’t be ashamed to take a little extra time this day for yourself. I pray you will be on the other side one day.
