It’s Friday people!! How did this happen!? I can’t believe a whole week has gone by!
Friday’s around here mean Pizza night! YAY! And a fun busy weekend ahead with birthday parties and family dinners!
In these Friday posts, I’ve enjoyed sharing my favorites from the week! It’s been a fun little reflection. And without realizing, it’s turned into a small reflection of what I’ve been thankful for. Pretty fun! Well, let’s get to it!
Last Saturday, my friend Stephanie and I did our first Fill-a-Bag at the local children’s consignment shop. And let me tell you, it was AMAZING!!!!!
Look at all the clothes I was able to get for Caroline!
I filled my bag with about 32 pieces for $10! Only one Hamilton my friends! Each item ended up being around $0.31 a piece!! This was incredible and the pieces were in good shape!
Seriously so GREAT! My recommendation on how to find a deal like this— follow some of your local consignment shops on social media and look out for their Fill-a-Bags!
I almost didn’t go because I thought Caroline doesn’t need any new clothes—she has so many! But Stephanie suggested I buy clothes in the next size up for her. Such a genius idea! Caroline’s closet is getting stocked up for 18-24 month sizes! YAY!
Target drive up!!!!
I think it’s one of the best inventions EVER!!
On Monday, I ran out of diapers…EEKS!! I couldn’t believe it, but it happened. Caroline went down for her nap in her last diaper and I quickly got on the Target app and ordered diapers. They were ready within the hour. Thank GOD! When Caroline woke, we headed straight to our local Target, and waiting for us were the diapers we desperately needed! LOL!
Talk about a life saver!
I can’t say enough how much I love this app!
Today I ordered some probiotics for Caroline through the app. We’ll be heading there soon because—guess what?!—our order was ready within 15 minutes!
Wow! It’s only three days into Lent and I didn’t realize how much I needed to give my brain a break and give more attention to my sweet girl! If you read my Ash Wednesday post you know what I’m talking about. I’ve really been enjoying saying no to my phone, no to my distracted thoughts, and yes to things that matter.
I hope your Lenten sacrifice has made a difference in your daily living too!
Is anyone watching American Idol?!
Oh my gosh! It’s so good! John and I haven’t watched since JLO, Steven Tyler, and Randy were judges. But holy cow! I love Katy Perry, Luke, and Lionel! They’re brillant!
The contestant’s stories have touched my heart each night. John asked me if I thought I was going to cry every episode. My answer so far is yes! ABC really knows how to create a good show! And Ryan Seacrest, could you get any more lovable?! 🙂
My last favorite! These yummy little breakfast bites! I found them at Aldi. They’re delicious to have with my coffee as a mid-morning snack. If you have an Aldi nearby, you need to grab some! You won’t regret it!
I hope everyone has a beautiful weekend as the time jumps forward! Trying to stay positive about that one! I guess it just means spring is pretty much here and summer is right around the corner!
