Earth Day Craft

It’s Earth Day and this is the easiest craft for all ages! Come check it out! Your kids will love it!

Happy Earth Day my friends! I thought today would be a fun day to do some Earth Day crafts with Caroline! This craft is the easiest craft EVER! I promise! I used to do it every Earth Day while teaching and I thought it’d be fun for Caroline to do too!

You can complete it with any age kiddo who can hold a marker and color around.

Caroline loves coloring with markers so this was a big deal!

Easy Earth Day Craft

The first thing I always do when completing a “messy” craft is grab a damp towel and keep it close by. This helps with any spills or marks I want to clean up immediately.

The next thing I love to do is roll out some easel paper and tap it down to the floor with painters tape. This way I’m not worried about the marker or paint going everywhere.

Now that you’re all set up for trying to contain all disasters, lol! Grab blue and green markers of any shade, a coffee filter for each person, a spray bottle, a couple of paper towels, and a baking sheet.

Now all you need to do is color the coffee filter with your green and blue markers. Cove as many white spots as you can.

Once your done, put the paper towels on the baking sheet, then place the decorated coffee filters on the paper towels and spray the filters till the colors begin to bleed together.

Place the baking sheet in the sun or somewhere it will dry. When it’s dry you will have a cool “Earth” craft! Hang in the window, on the fridge, really anywhere!

I hope you have fun with this little craft! I know we did! And the best part is you probably have all of these items around your house to begin with! YAY!

Yay, for Earth Day! Such a cute craft. Caroline looked like she had fun with the water bottle. We’ve got some yard work to do today so I think we’ll use that as our activity for the day.
