Do you have a pool bag? Come check out what’s in my bag!
We have been going to the pool just about every day lately and I LOVE it!

We are so lucky that our community pool has opened and it’s only a 3-minute walk to get there!

I decided this summer to not make my pool bag super complicated. I wanted it to be simple enough for Caroline to reach in it and find what she was looking for. I didn’t want to bring our life with us either. So super super simple was the route I chose!
I love to head out there at a moment’s notice! That is why I have a bag packed and ready to go for a quick dip in the pool!

I hang our bag by the garage door since we don’t have a mudroom. I keep all of these items in there at all times making it easy to grab some towels, put Caroline in the wagon and head out!
I got this bag from Target several years ago and have loved it since. It’s made of mesh material so it’s great to see what’s inside the bag and it’s easy to get out any sand or dirt.
I found something similar at Target now and it’s only $10! YAY!

Inside of this bag, I keep a plastic bag I received from MIL who got it from her mom who got it from Clinique counter. lol!

I put all of the pool toys in this bag so that I can throw them in there even if they’re wet.

In my pink bag, I like to keep my coverup, sunscreen, a hat for Caroline with her sunglasses, a clean diaper just in case, some snacks, a hairbrush, and a wet bag for anything we don’t want to get wet or for anything that is soaking wet.

1//Sunscreen, Hairbrush, clean diaper// Can I tell you a secret? I love to repurpose the bag you purchase sheets in. Next time you buy a new sheet check out how great the plastic zipper bag is the sheets come in. I love how it’s clear, plastic, and has a zipper!
2//Coverup// This bathing suit coverup is from so long ago. I got it at Old Navy.

3//Sunglasses and Hat// Caroline loves to have her sunglasses at the pool but often takes them off. These are just a fun cheap pair that are Frozen themed. I love her hat! She wears it to and from the pool and sometimes in the pool but not for long.
4//Wet Bag// I am obsessed with this bag! It is so nice to have if I need to throw in a wet bathing suit, or wet diaper. It came in handy big time when we did swim lessons.
5//Snack Bag// I like to keep simple snacks in our pool bag. Caroline gets super hungry while we walk back to the house so it’s nice to have an easy snack for her on the walk home.
I hope this inspires you to keep an easy pool bag ready for a quick jump in the pool!

This Florida heat is killing us so if we are outside, we are at the pool!

With the crazy Florida summers, it’s a must to have access to water if you plan on being outside for more than 5 minutes. So happy you have a pool so close! Love the inside of your pool bag and appreciate the fact that you went the simple route with what you put inside.
Thanks so much! I totally agree Tiffany! Simple is always better if possible lol! I didn’t want to overcomplicate a quick trip to the pool by having way too much in my pool bag.
Love this! We have a similar set-up for our pool bag in our laundry/mudroom and I️ keep our towels folded and ready to throw in the bag, along with essentials like sunscreen and goggles!
Love it! So fun!
It looks like you have all the essentials! A well packed pool bag is important with little ones! We like to keep ours easily accessible, too!
When my boys were younger I kept a bag like this for us to bring outside and play in the lake. I always had sunscreen, sunglasses, swim goggles, and towels. Since our play area was just steps outside the house I didn’t have to pack much but having everything in one spot made it easy for me to just grab and go while still keeping up with them.
