🌷The other day I wanted to give Caroline someth

🌷The other day I wanted to give Caroline something easy, fun, and creative to do all on her own so I gave her some random crafty items and she had the best time for several hours. She even played with this over a couple of days.

🎨I call it her creative station! Unless you have a better name lol!

🌷Our theme last week was all things flowers so I grabbed things that went with that theme.

🌷If you want to do this with your little one follow these simple easy steps!

➡️ HOW TO:

⭐️Grab a poster board from the Dollar Tree and cut it in half.

⭐️Lay out things like tissue paper, feathers, pom poms, stickers, crayons, markers, pencils, glue, scissors, etc.

⭐️And let your little one create! It’s so very fun and a super creative outlet for little ones.

🌷We have another fun playdough tray this week!

🌷We have another fun playdough tray this week!

🌷We’ve loved these so much and I’ve loved coming up with the items to place on Caroline’s tray!

🌷This week since we are doing all things flowers! And these are items I came up with for her to play with on her tray.

🌷A bunch of fake flowers (I cut them to have smaller stems), springtime pom poms, feathers, flower cupcake toppers, rolling pin and kids knife, and flower shaped cookie cutters.

🌷If you haven’t made one of these for your little one you need to try it out! They will love it!

🌷It would also be a really great center activity for your preschool classroom! Or even elementary school, add a writing piece asking your student to describe what they created and boom a fun center!

🌷And when I pick a theme, I try to think of things we can do that are hands-on.

☀️What was your favorite thing you did this past week or what was your favorite day?!

🏖I LOVED going to the beach with little miss!

🌴I’ve been trying to go once a week if we have the ability and we’ve both LOVED it!

☀️I used to overthink the idea of going to the beach as if we had to bring a million things, go for the whole day, fight traffic, find a parking spot, etc.

🏖But the other day I thought what do I have to lose and I couldn’t really come up with a good enough answer, so we tried it and it was AMAZING!

🌴We loved it so much, I really wish we could go every day!

☀️So what was your favorite thing you did this week?

🏖I encourage you to try something you’ve always wanted to do next week with your little one. I bet there is something you also talk yourself out of because of the amount of “work” that goes into doing said activity. I challenge you to try that activity, keep it simple, and let me know how it goes! I’d love to hear about it!

☘️I know it’s the day after St. Patrick’s

☘️I know it’s the day after St. Patrick’s Day but Caroline and I are taking the theme of St. Patty’s Day the whole week through and I wanted to share one more super fun fine motor skills craft for you and your little one!

🌈This craft is easy to create but it will definitely challenge your little one with their fine motor skills.

☘️Caroline is 3.2 years old and did a pretty good job with it. I helped her out a couple times but she insisted on doing it all herself!

☘️It took a lot of concentration and focus but she did it!

✨Materials:

•paper plate
•orange paint
•orange yarn (two colors if you want)
•construction paper
•googly eyes
•pom poms or crayons

✨Directions:
1.Paint the bottom half rim of the paper plate orange. Let it dry.
2.Punch holes in the plate, staggering them.
3.Cut yarn and tie two pieces together to make a knot so there it looks like four pieces of yarn are hanging down when holding the knot.
4.Let your little one lace the beard.
5.Help your little one create the face and hat.

☘️And there you go! A super cute fun fine motor skills activity for you and your little!

☘I have a super easy fun treat you can make today with your little one!

☘Seriously these are beyond EASY!

🌈Fruity Pebble Treats🌈

∙1/4 cup butter
∙6 cups marshmallows
∙1 tsp vanilla
∙6 cups fruity pebbles

1. Melt butter and marshmallows over low heat while stirring. Remove once melted and stir in vanilla.

2. Mix in fruity pebbles.

3. Press into a greased pan. I used a 9x13 baking dish.

☘️I usually like to have a fun morning activity for her to do and I thought this Playdough Tray would be great!

☘️A playdough tray can help your little one create so many fun imaginative things.

☘️A St. Patrick’s Day Playdough Tray can be a great activity for your little one all week long.

☘️And if you’re a teacher it’s a great center activity!

⭐If you want to challenge your little one or student you could easily have them create an object, then draw a picture of their object in a notebook and write a couple of sentences describing their object or even writing a story to go along with their creation.

☘️I feel like there are an endless amount of things you can do with a simple playdough tray!

➡️So the next time you want a fun creative activity for your little one make a playdough tray! Pick a theme, grab playdough, and objects that will help them to create with the playdough!

☘️Caroline and I made some super fun playdough yesterday for St. Patrick's Day!

☘️Here is the recipe!

∙2 cups flour
∙2 cups water
∙1 cup salt
∙green or gold food coloring
∙glitter

🌈Stir all the ingredients together on stove top over medium high heat till it sticks together. Remove from heat and let cool!

☘️And there you have it! Some really fun St. Patrick's Day themed playdough!
