Do you have a ton of apps on your phone? I do! Most of my apps are living in the cloud. But the ones I use every day are very helpful and are living here on land with me on my phone. 😉
I thought I’d jot down a couple of the apps that help keep me, well, sane. Check out how I organize my phone if you’re looking for a way to organize and simplify your phone. Seriously, your phone does not need to have more than two or three home pages. Check it out!
The first app that helps keep me organized…drum roll, please…Google Calendar! I’m sure for some of you that’s a no brainer, but this is the first year that John and I have sat down in January and planned out our whole year, and WOW! It’s great! Our Google Calendar is linked and we’re reminded of little appointments and goings-on in our family every day. If you want to link your calendar with your spouse and get all the craziness in one place I recommend Google Calendar. 🙂
My next favorite app…Evernote. We LOVE Evernote! We use a paperless filing system, yes, that’s right, you read it, paperless–more on that later. We put everything into Evernote. Y’all, this app is great! We make lists in it, jot down questions we have for a doctors appointment along with the answers, we have all our records at the tip of our fingertips and it’s come in handy many times.
The next app I LOVE is the Target app. YAY! For Target pick up! Moms out there you MUST have this! I use it quite often, out of diapers, out of laundry detergent, out of martini glasses…yes, we used Target pick up for martini glasses. This app is great. It helps me cut down on time getting out of the car, walking around Target, and of course buying at least 3 things we didn’t need. I love it! Download it, just do it!
The last app that keeps me sane. Google Maps. Google Maps, you save me soooo much time and wonder. I use this app at least twice a week. We have to drive a distance for Caroline’s Physical Therapy and yes, I know the route, but I like to check it before we head out the door to make sure there’s not a better route. If you drive where there’s lots of traffic or anything over 30 minutes I highly recommend hopping on Google Maps and check the route. See if there’s a faster alternative route. It will save you time and your sanity.
So there you have it! Some very random apps that help keep me sane! What are some apps that help you? I’d love to hear. Comment below and let me know! 🙂
